This annual event is part of the Cherry Blossom Festival held in Central City Park, Macon GA. This event has large appreciative crowds and a smooth, level playing field.

The Dixie Disc Dog Championships features 5 divisions of competition so beginners all the way up to the most advanced can get in on all the fun.  Freestyle teams from around the country will compete paw-to-paw on Saturday which are: Super-Open Freestyle; Open Freestyle; and three divisions of Toss & Fetch competition: Junior, Novice, and Pro. The Freestyle divisions have one round of Freestyle and one round of Toss & Fetch while the Toss & Fetch Divisions offer one round of elimination to the top 10 in each division.

Registration starts at 10:00 am. Competition starts at 11:00 am.

Argus Cup Event

The Dixie Disc Dog Championships is the first event of the year that is eligible for Argus Cup points and consideration towards all GADDC Season Awards.

To go to Central City Park, Macon, Take I-75 South from Atlanta to I-16 South. At the second I-16 exit turn right onto MLK. Take MLK to first light and turn left onto Riverside Drive. Follow Riverside Drive under railroad overpass and at the curve stay in left lane. Look for entrance to Central City Park (Cherry Blossom Festival) on left.
