This year’s 18th annual Dixie Disc Dog Championships was a great season opener.  With the weather was 68-70 degrees, the festival and the Cherry Blossom trees were beautiful, the crowd was the largest we have ever seen (a revolving crowd of at least 5,000 spectators day), the field was beautiful and full of grass, instead of Macon’s sand.  The competitors and volunteers all worked hard and seemed to have a great time.  Sunday’s demonstrations were a blast, the crowds were again enormous, and thank you to John Everly, Shane Williams and Theresa Brantley for helping with the demonstrations.

Thank you to all of the volunteers that helped make this event great.

Congratulations to Preston Dean and Sienna for winning Super-Open Freestyle and Jac Greenlee and Roxy for winning their first freestyle Open Division tournament.  Also, congratulations to Mark and Gipper and a special congratulations to Stacey Muir for winning Novice through a tie-breaker.  Welcome to Pro T&F Stacey.
